Welcome to Janska

I founded Janska for a number of reasons.

I wanted to create a line of polar fleece clothing that was virtually effortless to put on and take off. Clothing that wouldn’t strain anyone’s nerves in the process or aggravate older limbs.

That was a given; but I wanted more.

I wanted to create garments that weren’t simply passive. I wanted garments that gave something back to whomever was wearing them. Our clothing needed to create a sense of comfort, security and relaxation. And, it had to feel and look just right. Not clinical or old-fashioned.

Clothing that comforts is what Janska is all about. Janska is a soft pat on the back, a reassuring hand on a shoulder, a warm welcome on a chilly evening. It’s clothing that is stylish to look at and a joy to wear. And, it’s clothing that’s up for a walk around the lake if you’re up to it.
